Thoughts in ending and restarting the year

Wow. School is winding down. It has been a stressful, fun, educational, and challenging school year with some of the best kids I've ever taught. I'm seriously going to miss this group of kiddos. For next year, I have been thinking about some things I want to put into place:

1) I will have all of the materials students need online (even though some of them can't access it from home, they can always use a school computer). 

2) I will implement a system where students will achieve "ranks" where the students with good behavior help students who are moving off track get back to where they need to be. That being said, I will also implement community circles where we can discuss classroom issues and refocus certain behaviors. 

3) I will make sure all parents have Class Dojo information

4) I will make sure all students and parents have Remind 101 information

5) I will make sure all student interactive notebooks are set up correctly and will make sure all students are keeping track of their goals.

6) Student grades will be posted on the wall by student number

7) My room will be DECORATED with BIGHEADS! I want windows and animals all over the place!
